What is Toot Sweet?
Toot Sweet by Sweet Magazine is an online store bursting with fun things sourced by Lisa Evans (Sweet Magazine's Publisher and Editor). Each issue of the magazine has a Products We Love feature, and the Toot Sweet Shop makes it fully shoppable. You'll find presents for friends, gifts for family, and treats for yourself! It's a fun, quirky, and unique gift mecca!
What is Sweet Magazine?
Sweet Magazine is a digital magazine filled with all things celebration! You'll find hands on cake decorating tutorials, party DIYs and tonnes of recipes. It's filled with uncomplicated how-tos that produce beautiful results as well as new book reviews, interviews, party inspo and products we love!
Who makes Toot Sweet's products?
Toot Sweet, like Sweet Magazine and Sweet Expo, supports small Australian businesses as much as possible. Most of our products are small batch, handmade, and locally produced or designed. We're also have our own fun range of products including themed totes, shirts and jewellery. We're a small family run business too, so shopping at Toot Sweet supports two local businesses and we love getting your orders!
Does Toot Sweet offer free shipping?
Yes, in Australia, orders over $60 ship for free. Just select Free Shipping as your chosen shipping method at checkout. If you qualify for free shipping and want to get your order faster, you can upgrade to express at a discounted $5 rate.
How long will it take my Toot Sweet order to arrive?
Due to the impact of Covid-19 in Australia, we are no longer dispatching orders daily. For our own health and safety, and the health and safety of others, orders will be processed twice a week. Orders placed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and before 10pm Monday will be processed for dispatch on Tuesday. Orders placed Tuesday, Wednesday, and before 10pm Thursday will be processed for dispatch on Friday.
Orders placed before 10pm Sunday - Friday are processed the next day. Orders placed on Saturday are processed for post on Monday. We send all our goodies via Australia post from Sydney, NSW with tracking only (you are not required to sign for delivery). Use the tracking number we send to get an estimated time of arrival.
How are your orders packed?
All of our orders are packed in boxes. Earrings are individually wrapped in tissue paper and carefully packed in appropriately sized boxes. Where possible we try to reduce the use of bubble wrap. It's used to protect our soaps and our caramel - we ask that you take any bubble wrap that you can't re-use to your local RedCycle. We're committed to reducing our environmental impact where possible and so our boxes are taped with environmentally friendly gummed paper tape which is recyclable.
Do you ship internationally?
At this stage Toot Sweet ships across Australia. We're working on expanding across the ditch to New Zealand and we'll let you know via social media and email when that happens.
I've ordered a pre-sale item, what does that mean?
Pre-sale items are usually popular items that are on order with our suppliers. We have a definite arrival date and will tell you when you can expect your order to be shipped in the description of the pre-sale item. If your order includes in-stock and pre-sale items, your order won't ship until all pre-sale items have arrived and it can be sent as one order.
About our hand made jewellery.
We stock a range of beautiful jewellery produced by hand by small businesses across Australia. These products aren't mass produced, or made with machines, so they naturally have variations in colour, size, thickness, and detail which adds to the charm of any handmade product. We use high quality, high resolution product images that allow you to zoom in and take a good look at what you're purchasing. Please choose carefully, as we don't refund for change of mind (including thinking they don't suit you).
Will you refund my order?
We offer refunds in accordance with Australian consumer law. If your order is faulty or arrives damaged we will either refund you or send you a replacement. As most of our jewellery is handmade in limited runs, some items may sell out and be unable to be replaced, in this case a refund will be processed or you can choose another item in our store of the same value. We don't refund for change of mind, so choose carefully!
